Zhineng Qigong Science

A life science based on systematic theory and methods

Zhineng Qigong Science refers to the ongoing empirical and clinical research on Zhineng Qigong theory, as well as the practical application of Zhineng Qigong methods with focus on the relationship between the three substances - physical matter, information and Qi.

Zhineng Qigong practice requires an open heart and mind and a solid theoretical understanding of this relationship and the natural principles of the universe.  Zhineng Qigong is a life science based on systematic theory and methods.

Self-healing, industrial and agricultural production

Zhineng Qigong research investigates the application of Zhineng Qigong in the self-healing sector, as well as industrial and agricultural production. The focus of recent studies has been on the effectiveness of Zhineng Qigong.  Why is Qigong practice so effective? How can Zhineng Qigong support in the recovery process of a disease?

Circulation of Qi

Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qigong science believe that diseases arise from Qi and blood deficiencies, disorders of Qi and blood circulation, and the consequent imbalance of various vital functions. Qigong practice increases Qi and blood to sufficient levels, and its teachings state: “A person will never fall sick if their Qi and blood are circulating smoothly”.

Same principles of conventional science

Zhineng Qigong Science follows the same principles of conventional science; it is an intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of structure and behaviour of the research object through observation and experiment.  According to Dr Pang, Zhineng Qigong science “involves researching, recognizing, acquiring, and utilizing the laws that govern the bodies and minds of humans.”

Support a theory with empirical proof

Part of any research project and scientific study is to support a theory with empirical proof.  In the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Training Centre – also known as the world’s first medicine-less hospital – among the 130 000 Qigong learners enrolled there from 1988 to 1994, sick people accounted for at least 80%. These people were afflicted with up to 180 types of diseases, including some diseases intractable to both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The average cure rate was 85% during that period. Many healing stories are documented in “101 Miracles of Natural Healing” by Luke Chan.

Worldwide research studies and retreats

Nowadays regular research studies are conducted at the Zhineng Qigong Science Research Centre, university hospitals and research institutes worldwide; numerous medical research papers have been published.  Zhineng Qigong workshops and retreats are arranged around the world aiming to activate and support Hunyuan Qi’s self-healing power while gathering data to support the Zhineng Qigong Science | Hunyuan Qi Therapy theory. With the intention to spread the power of Zhineng Qigong on an international level, prove its effectiveness and make it accessible to as many people as possible, Zhineng Qigong practitioners, teachers and Hunyuan Qi Therapists around the world have come together to share stories of people who have used these self-empowering practices in their recovery journey.

A new way of living

The goal of Zhineng Qigong Science is to understand the natural principles of the universe, discover and verify the relationship between body, mind, qi and the environment, and potentially creating a new way of living for human beings that promotes health, freedom and happiness - an evolution of humanity.
